The Process
Identifying the need
Upon inquiry, we will reach out to the special education director or assistant to schedule a phone call. During this call, we will gather specific details about your needs, such as whether you require a full-time or part-time therapist, caseload information, and the location of the school. This approach enables us to find a therapist who is the best match for your requirements.
Recruitment
Once we understand your specific needs, we will initiate the recruitment process for a therapist tailored to your school. As a therapist-owned and managed company, we leverage our extensive network of professionals across the states we serve. Our reputation of treating therapists well ensures a continuous flow of referrals, allowing us to connect you with the best possible support.
Interview
Caroline takes a hands-on approach by personally interviewing each candidate. With her background as an SLP, she understands precisely what questions to ask to effectively assess the candidate's skills, experience, and overall fit for the role. This ensures a thorough evaluation process that prioritizes the best candidates for the position.
License Verification
Meet & Greet
Contract and Onboarding
Golden Oak Therapies will verify state licenses and ASHA certifications in accordance with state regulations and standards. We will also conduct an extensive background check to ensure professionalism and qualification of each candidate.
If you would like to meet the candidate before signing a contract, we can schedule a meet and greet via Zoom. Caroline will personally introduce you to our carefully vetted candidate in a Zoom meeting to ensure a great fit with your district.
At this time we will move forward with signing all paperwork, onboarding our SLP, and ensuring that all documentation is completed for initiating therapy in your district.
